It was my pleasure to photograph Sári and Béla’s wedding in Hungary in September. I flew back from Dublin and spent two rainy days with friends in the capital city of Hungary, Budapest. On the 2nd day, I took the train and headed down to Székesfehérvár which is a city in central Hungary. In the Middle Ages the city was a royal residence and was one of the most important cities of Hungary: 37 kings and 39 queen consorts were crowned, 15 rulers have been buried there, the diets were held and the crown jewels were kept there.

When I arrived to Székesfehérvár, it was pouring rain :( and the wedding was the next day. I remember laying under the blanket in the bed at night, warm and cozy, listening to the rain beating against the window and praying: “Please God, make it stop by tomorrow” :) . Next morning, everything was quiet – it was the most beautiful music to my ears: the rain had stopped. Throughout the whole day, God’s blessing was clearly evident.

By the time the couple got ready, even the sun was shining. Oh happy day :D . I was really looking forward to photographing this wedding for several reasons. First of all, the photoshoot took place at the Bory Castle, one of the main sights of the city which is the bride’s favorite place too – no wonder ;).

Secondly, the couple wanted quality time for their photoshoot, no hurrying  ;).

The last and the best reason: this couple is head over heals in ♥. See? Love, love, love photographing true emotions!!!!

The Groom did not see the Bride’s wedding gown till the day of the wedding – they both looked radiant!

So did the bridesmaids who organized a fun Hen Party for the Bride :) .

Sári, I’m sure that like all girls you were looking forward to meeting Mr. Right :) ….

…. you spent endless hours searching for Him….

…. and daydreaming about Him :D .

The long await is over: you found Him ;) !

Béla, love your wife and protect her like a brave knight  :) .

Sári, enjoy being a wife (oh, I’m sure you do :D ). Time flies and sooner or later you might become a mother too ;) .

Always remember that “health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship” (Buddha). Support each other in good times and bad times and know that there are three things that last in this life: faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is LOVE (1 Corinthians 13:13).

God is love – expect miracles from God!

May God give you many, many merry days…. and let the winds of the heavens dance between you  ;) .
