LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL,  TRIPS UNDER THE STARS

Autumn in Glendalough

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons of the year. What I love about the Irish landscape during autumn is the unique spectrum of colors: yellows, reds, browns, ochres, russets and purples are abundant. A lovely place to enjoy Autumn colors is Glendalough. This place always stills my mind, inspires my heart and fills my soul. It is home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Set in a glaciated valley with two lakes, the monastic remains include a round tower, stone churches and decorated crosses.

All the routes where they cross any bog or peat have boardwalks to walk along. And someone precious enjoyed walking there a lot ;).

We enjoyed theΒ sweet calm sunshine of October a lot and we were lucky enoughΒ to witness the appearance of a herd of deer.

What I love is near at hand. Always, in earth and air.
