DAY 8 | WORK IN PROGRESS #MarchMeetTheMaker ✂️ DAY 8 | WORK IN PROGRESS #MarchMeetTheMaker ✂️ Behind the scenes I'm regularly working on custom orders with mamas from across the globe. As I'm constantly juggling many roles as an entrepreneur, I'm not always able to show you in real time the things we're working on with my Mum, but I love to give you sneak peeks & I regularly blog about our finished projects on ✨WWW.INEZLIGETI.COM✨ & pin our Etsy listings, blog posts to my popular Pinterest board called ✨BOHO BABY HEAVEN✨ (how original, I know 😅🤣). Recently, I've started working on custom nursery decor for my dear friend Rose, the owner of @kiin.baby who is expecting her second child. We have a special connection as she also runs her business with her Mum & we are crazy about the same colours. I'm so excited to design & make all the decor pillows & toys for her boho nursery. Above is a sneak peek of the Earthy colours I'm going to use. I also wanted to show one of my tiny muses, a wooden camel toy 🐪 that I bought as a teenager, the main inspo behind our own range of camel nursery decor & toys. I have always been drawn to & absolutely in love with handmade. Ever since I can remember getting pocket money, I'd spend it on handmade jewellery, clothes, bags or home decor items by local artists. I never would have thought back then that one day my life will revolve around handmade. I can't wait for our camels to make their journey to their forever homes in Australia & be one of the first toys that will make Rose's baby smile 🥰. Have we made something for you/your baby? DAY 5 | NEWEST MAKE 🐪 #MarchMeetTheMaker | My n DAY 5 | NEWEST MAKE 🐪 #MarchMeetTheMaker | My newest make is actually something that I simply made for my home as a personal project. The time has finally come to start sharing this room reveal and I couldn’t be more excited. This room belongs to my little muse, my whole world, my little boy: Milán. I am so grateful that I got to create a cozy little space for him with my Mum where we can play, learn and have fun making memories. He simply adores the things we make, so the theme & the style of his room became obvious quite early on. There was no doubt that it will be boho style and the WANDERLUST theme covered every motif I planned on featuring in his room decor. My son has seen us make so many llamas, camels and cacti throughout the years that he demanded his own over the superheroes of the Marvel universe & I take that as a huge compliment 😃. As my son is not a baby or a toddler anymore, I had to think of a creative way to feature our camels, cacti and stars. It was also time to make my palm tree idea come to life too. I loved the idea of adding a bunting, but I wanted something different. So I decided to hang our signature figures with drawing pins on a gorgeous oak tree branch I found in the woods. We made several decor pillows too to match the lovely tufted blanket I got years ago from @anthropologie. The rattan bedframe is vintage, I found it locally. My son also got the big boy version of our Llama Riding Stick Toy. I will share more of his room later on. I hope you loved this little peek into our home 👀. DAY 3 | BELIEFS & VALUES 🧡 #MarchMeetTheMaker ✂️ Motherhood has shown me the innocent, pure, unconditional side of love. It also led me to new hobbies where my creativity could soar. I think it's very important to believe in the beauty of your dreams. The things we are passionate about our not random, they are our CALLING. It took me a good while to answer this calling, but I’m glad I finally could/did. As @brenebrown said, “Unused creativity is not benign. It metastasizes. DAY 2 | STYLE🌵#MarchMeetTheMaker. We definitely DAY 2 | STYLE🌵#MarchMeetTheMaker. We definitely have a particular style, it's called BOHEMIAN. Ever since our rebranding in 2016 when we said goodbye to the woodland theme, we've turned into a cacti & llama factory 🌵🦙, adding camels 🐪 and now palm trees along the way into our selection of signature figures. We adore high quality vintage style laces & we use every single opportunity to include them in our designs. We always aim for a minimalistic, but elegant design with stunning & trendsetting colour choices. We don't use felt fabric, but prefer working with cotton fabrics as it results in a more elegant look. We love gender neutral colours and are crazy in love with mustard, rusty and olive shades. We are known for our cacti, but most of our cacti are not green. When it comes to colours, we are definitely not afraid to think out of the box 😃.
